Lapham Community Center provides programs and services for all adult New Canaan residents (aged 21+) that will help them to live happier, healthier and more productive lives. In addition to programs targeted specifically at seniors (such as free weekly blood pressure testing, monthly hearing screenings and hearing aid clinics, computer/technology one-one-one help, volunteer income tax assistance, and Medicare assistance ), Lapham offers a wide variety of programs that can be enjoyed by adults of all ages.
To this end, there are 90+ activities and adult education classes in the arts, fitness, bridge, history, music, languages and personal development. Special programs in the fall of 2019 include a Pompeii travelogue, Acupuncture discussion and joint programs with Staying Put such as Antiques Appraisals. Want to learn more about Katharine Hepburn?
