Ethics

What We Do

Continuing New Canaan’s long standing commitment to the ethical behavior of its elected and appointed officials, volunteers and employees, the Town has a Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Rules that are overseen and enforced by the Town’s Ethics Board. That Code and Rules can be found here (click here).
The Ethics Board also has responsibility for promulgating, and in some circumstances conducting investigations under, the Town's Whistleblower Policy. That policy can be found here (click here).
