THE GRIT NINJA- Outdoor Ninja Warrior Class

Grades 3-6 1:00-2:00 (groups will be divided according to age and skill level)
Grades K-2 2:10-3:10 (groups will be divided according to age and skill level)

Fee: $160 per child per session
During each action-packed class, these beginner ninjas will climb, swing, jump and run on our ever-changing equipment (which includes a rock wall traverse, monkey bars, grip gauntlet, cliffhanger, balance courses, warped walls, and so much more. Classes are led by The Grit Ninja’s professional coaches- many of whom have competed on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior. Coaches will guide ninjas as they tackle our fun obstacles that build strength, coordination, agility, balance, problem-solving skills, self-confidence and most importantly, GRIT.
HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS- All coaches will be wearing masks. Ninjas are encouraged to also wear masks. Groups will be limited to no more than 8 total- obstacle stations will be adequately spaced and ninjas will have designated waiting areas to ensure appropriate 6 ft social distancing. All coaches and ninjas will sanitize their hands before and throughout the class- we will bring hand sanitizer, but ninjas are also encouraged to supply their own. All equipment will be disinfected before classes and throughout the class if necessary.
REGISTRATION- begins April 1 online through the Recreation Department. Open to New Canaan Residents only with a session minimum of 18 and maximum of 32 participants.
Refund Policy Recreation Programs and Permits- Refunds will be processed through the same form of original payment, except cash refunds will be processed by check. No pro-rated partial refunds. Recreation Programs- for all programs other than Day Camp and B/ASF classes, a full refund is given if withdrawal notification is received up to 7 days prior to the program start with return of unused t-shirt, less administrative fee of $5.00. Day Camps-full refund given if withdrawal notification is received up to ten days prior to the session start, less administrative fee of $5.00. B/ASF classes- $5 fee assessed if parent notification to the Recreation Department occurs up to 7 days before the start of the class. $25 fee assessed if notification occurs within 7 days before the start of the class. No refunds will be issued after the class starts. Facility Permits- no refunds on permits for Pool, Kiwanis, Tennis, Paddle.
