Boxcar Commuter Parking Service

The Town of New Canaan has developed a partnership with Boxcar’s commuter parking service in New Canaan. On your phone or pad see www.boxcarapp.com or go to www.boxcar/parking.com

You can now reserve daily commuter parking in the Boxcar app, available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Boxcar is a New Jersey-based mobility company that has expanded its commuter parking service into Connecticut.

New Canaan was the first town in Connecticut to partner with Boxcar to make reservable parking available for its train commuters.

Boxcar parking spaces in New Canaan are available in the following locations:

St. Aloysius R.C. Church parking lot at 21 Cherry Street (corner of Park Street and Cherry Street). Click here for map.

Talmadge Hill Train Station located in the parking lot on the South side of Talmadge Hill Road - (if the Boxcar spaces are full anyone who has paid for daily parking through Boxcar only can park their vehicle in any of the permit tiers at the Talmadge Hill train station).

To reserve Boxcar parking spaces just download the Boxcar app (from the Apple App Store or Google Play) to your smart phone, create an account and then reserve parking for the days you want.

The initial daily fee at Boxcar/Talmadge Hill is $5.50

The initial daily fee at Boxcar/St. Aloysius is $6.00.
