Infectious Disease/Vaccination Information
The New Canaan Health Department works in conjunction with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), & State of CT Department of Public Health (DPH) to control the spread of infectious diseases. Examples of infectious diseases are COVID 19, Tuberculosis (TB), Flu, Measles, RSV, Ebola, Hepatitis B & C, HIV/AIDS and more. The control of infectious disease is done through vaccinations, education, inspections, preparedness and prevention.
