NEWS RELEASE

The Town of New Canaan is proposing a Pavement Preservation Project utilizing funding available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, administered by the Connecticut Department of Transportation. 

This project will be designed by the Town and will include the “milling and paving” of the following road segments:

• Farm Road, from White Oak Shade Road to South Avenue (RTE 124)

Based upon a preliminary assessment, it is anticipated that the construction cost will be approximately $186,000 and be provided by the State.

The work is expected to take place in the Summer, 2010.
