“HOLIDAY CRAFTS WITH LEE ANN”  Want to make your conference day SUPER EASY, while making your kids day SUPER FUN? Your child will get into the holiday spirit creating fun holiday crafts and playing holiday games.  Crafts will be an assortment of ornaments, gifts to give, holiday cards and much more.  Each student should be able to complete 3-4 crafts per day. Class fee: $30 (Min 8/Max 30)

NEW CANAAN ART & SOUL: “HOLIDAY DOOR HANGERS” Make a large 18” decorative "door hanger” plaque in the shape of a stocking (Wednesday) or ornament (Thursday).  We will provide inspiration and patterns to help each child create and paint their own original festive design suitable for hanging inside or out.  Class fee: $30 (Min 8/Max 11)

MAD SCIENCE OF FAIRFIELD COUNTY: "FUNDAMENTAL FORCES” AND “UNDER PRESSURE” Fundamental Forces- Sir Issac Newton would be proud when young scientists investigate his law of inertia.  Students experiment with mass and balance using their own centers of gravity.  A comparison between rubber and dough balls brings the physical effects of forces to light.  Gyroscopes, bike wheels, and toy racetracks reveal the concepts of precession and centripetal force.  Under Pressure- Under Pressure is an exciting immersion in the science of air pressure and Bernoulli’s principle.  Students enjoy the exciting tale of the Viking ship while learning about thermodynamics and weather systems.  A hopping, hovering table tennis ball lets students experiment with unbalanced air pressure.  Air-blasting Airzookas are a fun way to understand the physics of breathing.  Students apply their knowledge to overcome gravity using compressed air, and they will take home their very own Air Blaster foam launchers.  Class Fee: $30 (Min 12/Max 15)

“LEGO LOVE” Lego Love consists of building LEGO creations each class.  While building creations with other students, they are also being introduced to different life skills such as negotiation, communication, self-pride, creativity, public speaking, and tolerance.  The students work together in groups of 3-5 to build one creation per group.   The creations are then dismantled and put back in the storage bins. Class Fee: $30 (Min 12/Max 20)

RAD LAB SCIENCE QUEST- ENGINEERING EXPO! Challenge accepted!  Join Rad Lab in a quest to conquer a plethora of engineering challenges, from building an unsinkable boat, to creating the farthest reaching catapult. Young scientists will attempt to build a break-proof capsule for a sky-diving egg, create a bridge that can withstand tremendous force, and even mastermind glowing eyeballs with electrical glow circuits!  Bring your creativity, and join in the Engineering Expo!  Class fee: $30 (Min 12/Max 15)

PLAY-WELL TEKNOLOGY: STEM FUNDAMENTALS LEGO Apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects such as Motorcycles, Aircraft Carriers, Conveyor Belts, and Rail Racers.  Design and build as never before, and explore your craziest ideas in a supportive environment.  A Play-Well Teknology program. Class Fee: $30 (Min 11/Max 16)

PLAY-WELL TEKNOLOGY: MINECRAFT ENGINEERING USING LEGO Build engineer-designed projects such as a motorized Creeper, a portal to the Nether, and a moving Minecart!  Create your favorite Minecraft objects with the guidance of an experienced Play-Well instructor.  Whether you are new to Minecraft and LEGO materials or a seasoned veteran, you’ll be hooked on the endless creative possibilities.  A Play-Well Teknology program.  Class Fee: $30 (Min 11/Max 16)

PLAY-WELL TEKNOLOGY: JEDI ENGINEERING USING LEGO The force awakens in this introductory engineering course for young Jedi!  Explore engineering principals by designing and building projects using LEGO materials such as X-Wings, R2 Units, Energy Catapults, Defense Turrets, and Settlements from a galaxy far, far away.  Create motorized and architectural projects with imagination and engineering to defeat the Empire!  A Play-Well Teknology program. Class Fee: $30 (Min 11/Max 16)

PLAY-WELL TEKNOLOGY: SUPERHERO ENGINEERING USING LEGO  Save the world with super heroes!  Build the hideouts and vehicles of your favorite caped crusaders and learn what makes them not only Super Heroes, but Super Hero Engineers.  An experienced Play-Well instructor guides young heroes as they design, build, and save a city where ingenuity and imagination can solve any conflict.  A Play-Well Teknology program. Class Fee: $30 (Min 11/Max 16)

BEDFORD CHESS: CHESS CHALLENGE & BUGHOUSE CHESS  Bughouse Chess is the latest craze for chess players that combines teamwork, tactics, speed and initiative. The rules are like normal chess, but it involves teams of 2.  When a player on one board captures a piece, he passes it to his partner to place on his board (partners play opposite colors).  The instructor will spend the first part of the class explaining and going over the rules, and then team you up with your friends.  This class requires students to already have beginner knowledge of chess. Players interested in playing classical chess are welcome and beginner instruction will be given. Class Fee: $30 (Min 8 / Max 24)

OVERTIME ATHLETICS: “SPORTS VARIETY” Participants will practice skills and play games in both traditional sports and playground favorites.  Basketball, Soccer, Flag Football, Kickball, Capture the Flag, Whiffle Ball, Bump and Bite, Knights and Dragons, Numbers Game, Tag Games, Safe Base and More.  Overtime Athletics covers all the bases and our emphasis on playing, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fitness.  Class Fee: $30 (Min 13/Max 20)
